In conjunction with some of the discussions and articles we read here, the idea of the Human Soul gains some attention.

Ancient and primitive peoples have long since been recognized for being aware of the existence of an aspect of individual beings that we have come to know as the soul. What it is and how does it relate to the idea of Personality Disorders might be of concern to some of us. What does the discipline have to say about it?

Seems to me that the soul is the foundation upon which everything else in our persona rests.
.
I think--from a functional approach--it can be posited that the soul is the well integrated organization of all the different aspects of the individual psyche.
